11th July 2025, 6:15 pm-9:00 pm
Enjoy the taste of a Spanish Paella in Bedfordshire among the vines growing our award winning wines.
Crayfish Capers (www.crayfishcapers.co.uk) will cook and serve their Big Pan Crayfish Paella (vegetarian option also available). Your meal will be accompanied by a glass of our chilled white wine or, if preferred, an alcohol free fizz followed by dessert.
Crayfish Capers specialise in the trapping and supply of signal crayfish which they distribute through farmers markets, country shows and other events. This local family business came about as a result of the invasion of signal crayfish in UK rivers and canals and aims to start to slow down the devastating effects they are having on our waters. Signal crayfish are their passion. Licensed trappers since 2004, the crayfish in their paella are the freshest possible and the taste proves it.
Just think, the freshest seafood and delicious locally grown wine right in the middle of England, who’d have thought it.
Arrival from 6:15pm to allow time for a self-guided tour or to simply relax with a glass of wine before you eat at 7pm. We will probably be dining outside, so dress for the weather.
Book your place now – be quick as numbers are limited for this popular event!
