Get Involved
The community vineyard is a not-for-profit venture. Vines are cared for all year round by volunteers, who also help us with promoting the project, historical research, vineyard tours, organising events and fund-raising.
The vineyard has given me structure in life and I feel that I have found a niche. I’m learning to manage stress and not to take on more than I can cope with so it has been a really positive experience.
I enjoy coming to the vineyard and the work involved. I like the new skills and information about the vineyard that I have gained. I particularly like the way the volunteers work together - there is always someone there to ask for advice.
